Brand founded Frentz and Frentz with his brother John Frentz in November of 1983. He practiced personal injury for 16 years. He is experienced in handling personal injury claims and has successfully advised thousands of injured persons and resolved these claims by settlement, arbitration and trial. He now consults on all matters pertaining to the firm.

Brand lives just outside of Mankato with his wife of 24 years, Vycki. He is the father of Nick Frentz, and has two other grown children, and ten grandchildren. Brand is active in many outdoor activities, including canoeing, camping, and cross-country skiing.
